Ok, I tried the SDL version. The first time I ran it with the -fullscreen option, it crashed X, which then restarted, but not before corrupting all my text consoles (again). I tried it again and this time it worked "OK" but it kept overidling the whole time (it'd jump to like 105% briefly and that'd cause a hiccup). I don't know if that had something to do with the screenmode's refresh rate or what. I tried it several more times and other than the idling problem causing hiccups, it exited to the right resolution each time. I tried xmame.x11 and on the very first time exiting, it went to the wrong screen resolution again. I was able to CTRL-ALT + it back that time without crashing X, but it's unreliable, IMO. I don't know why the SDL version crashed X the first time and I don't know why the X11 version exits to the wrong resolution half the time (and sometimes crashes it when I turn the resolution back up manually). Is there a key combo in the SDL version to switch back and forth between window and fullscreen mode like there is for X11/DGA? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
