The new mame (0.57) version runs kof2000, I saw it on mame.dk. I can't
wait for the next Xmame!
But I would like to know something: Why the roms sizes from kof99 and
kof2000 are so big?? Isn't it an absurd that you need to have more than
128MB RAM to be able to run a neogeo game? I only know it has something
to do with crypted stuff, but I've seen some smaller roms.

I got some kof2000 roms from
http://speksnk.metropoliglobal.com/njuegos/neogeo/roms/kof2000.htm and
added/changed some information from some files on xmame in order to run
it. Ok, the fighters names were messed up but the rest went fine, and
the sizes of the files were about a half of the sizes of that ones on
mame.dk.

The only way I can run kof99 is switching to WindowMaker because it
consumes less memory and I have only 128MB, I wonder if I'll have to do
the same with kof2000 in the next version.
