I personally use gRustibus, and like it. What does the fact it hasn't been updated in a year have to do with anything? You said you liked it, so what does age have to do with it? The only complaints I have with it are that it doesn't seem to work with any of the newer history.day files, (which is a very minor problem in my eyes) and it takes forever when it re-scans the rom directory. (again, is a minor problem, since it only does that when a new version of xmame comes out) I know its cloned somewhat off arcade@home, which when it dectects a new mame version scans much quicker. There is the option to do the more detailed scan in the menu, but the quick one it does when it detects a new mame version, and at start up is much faster. But like I said, those problems are minor. I believe the author of gRustibus lurks on this list ocasionally. If he still is, thanks for the nice front end. And I understand about time constraints for coding free software. :) -Nick >From: redtoade <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: [Xmame] frontends >Date: Fri, 22 Mar 2002 19:09:47 -0800 (PST) > >What's the most widely used frontend for xmame? > >I was using AND LIKED grusitbus, but it hasn't been >updated in almost a year.
