Just tried compiling X11 without DGA, no luck (same segfault). Compiled the svgalib version, same segfault. Couldn't compile SDL. Now I am back to X11 with DGA, with the workaround for DGA2 . Heres the output of an error and some previous stuff (didn't segfault this time around). I am certainlyno X server expert so I am not sure what exactly is going on. Thanks for any insight on this one. loading rom 8: u10103.bin loading rom 9: u0462.bin done XDGA: info: found 43 modes: OSD: Info: Ideal mode for this game = 425x320 VidMode Switching To Mode: 640 x 480 XF86-DGA2 running at: 16bpp Using 16bpp video mode Game uses 32768 colors info: setting fragsize to 1024, numfrags to 5 info: fragsize = 1024, numfrags = 5 info: audiodevice /dev/dsp set to 16bit linear stereo 22050Hz info: sysdep_dsp: using oss plugin info: sysdep_mixer: using oss plugin X Error of failed request: XF86DGANoDirectVideoMode Major opcode of failed request: 137 (XFree86-DGA) Minor opcode of failed request: 13 (XDGASetMode) Serial number of failed request: 9 Current serial number in output stream: 9 ...Anyway Regards, Jeff _______________________________________________ Xmame mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://toybox.twisted.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/xmame
