Certain 3Dfx cards have a TV out, and I used a Trident 3DImage 975 with X 3.3.6 (XF86_SVGA driver). This card is also supported in XFree86 4.0. It's rather an old card and I could only get the TV out to work in 640x480 - for other modes, it was switched off. The ASIC on the card also got _very_ hot while the card was in use. This probably isn't what you're looking for since this is such an old card.
