Hi all,

I'm using Xmame 0.61.1-pr3 on a K6-2/400 PC with 128MB RAM and a
4MB ATI Mach64 graphics card. I've compiled Xmame for X11, DGA
enabled. One thing that puzzles me is that the num lock, caps
lock and scroll lock LEDs no longer reflect various LEDs on the
game that I'm playing. For instance, when I had Xmame compiled
for an svgalib target and played Asteroids, Num Lock was player 1's
'start' LED and Caps was player 2's, IIRC.

I've uncommented the 'Xleds' option in my XF86Config-4, and it
now says

Option "Xleds" "1 2 3"

In spite of this, only scroll lock (LED 3) responds (i.e. with 'xset
+led 3' or 'xset -led 3').

Looks like I have two problems: first, that not all LEDs are user-
controllable, and second, that Xmame needs to send commands to X
to control the LED.

Would it be possible for me to build an external box of LEDs,
perhaps attached to the parallel port? Where in the Xmame source
are various LED states set?

Thanks,

Alex.
