I have a pair of gravis eleminator aftershock gamepads. They work great most of the time, but there is one majorly annoying problem. The pads have a button labeled "precision" by each of the two thumb hats (complete with an LED to show if "precision" is enabled). If you accidentally puss this button while playing a game in mame, the axis will no longer work correctly. Usually after pushing the button mame seems to lock the controller going one direction or another. This continues even if hit the precision button again (turning precision off). Bumping the button is very easy to do and it happens all the time. The only way to get the controller to work again is to quit the game and restart. The axis report just fine (precision or no) under jstest, so I'm assuming it is an XMAME issue. Any ideas? -- Wherever you go, there you are
