I looked at the ACT Labs gun, but I decided against buying it. The fact that
(as I recall) their documentation says that it has to strobe the screen (much
like the old 8-bit NES did) in order to read positioning info made me kind of
leery.
I, too, would be willing to make a cash donation to somebody willing to do
meaningful research into lightguns for use with XMame, especially if it lead to
being able to use 2 guns at the same time (for 2-player games)
Maybe PlayStation light guns could be used as well? (with one of those EMS
Playstation-to-USB controller cables)

I hate to clutter the list with questions that have been asked before,
but there has been no answer posted that I have seen (I could be wrong,
and if I am, please feel free to let me know (nicely)).
I am curious as to what the state of the ACT Labs USB Gun is in xmame.
From everything I can tell, it should work fine... however, I don't
want to blow $35 and have it not work.
Anyone had any luck with this? I'd be willing to spring $35 for a developer to get a gun to support the project if it has not yet been implemented. I know several people probably want this feature, so maybe we could all throw in a few bucks. :-)
