Last year I went to a convention called MAGFest, and it really rocked. Some videogame cover bands (like the Minibosses, if you've heard of them) came, and it was a blast. Then the inevitable happened. The guy running MAGFest wanted to go back to school, and a few other guys that helped couldn't help out in 2003.
I couldn't stand to hear it, so I bought the rights and assets for running the convention outright, and now I'm the chairman guy of a three day PC, video, and arcade gaming party at a hotel.
I'm going to VA for a wedding later this week, and I should be dropping by
MAGFest on Saturday. So if any xmamers are there, say hello if you bump into me.
