That would be me :-) > Could you take a look at that? I don't have a x86_64 machine. Mailing me > an mb + cpu is also an option :) I just tested, and things seem to have definitely improved! With x11-mode 1, games with artwork work great (tried pacman & mario), but the artwork _must_ be enabled. Without, a similar problem than before happens : I get the display inside the window "stretched" horizontally, so I can see only the left half of the display inside a window which seems to have the right size and aspect ratio. This is what also seems to happen with all other games (tested sf2, spang, xmvsf, 1943). There is also a greenish touch most of the time. The other things worth noting as that : I don't need to force the yuv mode anymore (when using artwork, the only working config right now), and when games exhibit the problem described above, all games, even the ones which can have artwork but have it disabled, segfault when I exit xmame. Actually, or this, or (1943) a "free() : invalid pointer 0x2a95e28010!" message. > A third option is setting me up with remote access to an x86_64 machine > with a CVS xmame binary and a core file, err dang it doesn't crash does > it hmmmm. Well, it does (when I exit), so maybe it could give you a valuable clue about where the problem lies. OpenGL through x11-mode 2 still works great btw :-) Matthias -- Matthias Saou World Trade Center ------------- Edificio Norte 4 Planta System and Network Engineer 08039 Barcelona, Spain Electronic Group Interactive Phone : +34 936 00 23 23 _______________________________________________ Xmame mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://toybox.twisted.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/xmame
