I read the article and I don't see the relationship to XML.
What I see is that large consulting firms are not doing a good job.
I have heard this from customers. If you are a small customer for the big
firm, they just try to load you up with trainee consultants and milk you
(the client) for money. When you call and complain, you don't get attention
unless you are spending millions with the consulting firm.
Lots of smaller clients better service from smaller consulting firms. You
have to be important to the consulting firm. If the large firms have too
much business, you as a small client get lost in their system.
Getting good service from a consulting firm is a matter of chosing the
correct firm up front. IMHO, it has nothing to do with using XML.
