I forgot to mention that HK Systems, QAD and Metaphase are implementing OAG
in their products.

Bob,
I know Oracle for a fact has stated that it will support OAG out-of-the-box
in their 11i release. This will be their own implementation. However, I
don't know which OAG BODs they will support. I am waiting for a reply. This
info might be on their web site.
I don't know of any single vendor that has implemented all of the BODs. No
single vendor may due to the breadth of the OAG specification. For example
Lucent uses Oracle for some aspects of manufacturing, SAP for financials,
PeopleSoft for HR. Certainly PeopleSoft will not be able to support all of
the BODs because some are out of their scope.
Within the OAG we are working on a Vendor Challenge (soon to be announced)
project which challenges vendors that have "stated support" for OAG to
actually show that they can and will support them. The goal of this project
is not to demonstrate integration with OAG, that has been done (see OAG's
web site for info on 26+ live sites), but to get vendors to take ownership
of the support. I am very sensitive, as you are, to the lip service some ERP
vendors have given to OAG and other standards support. We (OAG) are also
working on a vendor scorecard which would rate them based on their level of
support.
Finally, it is certainly Lucent's vision to have the level of
interoperability you imply, just send us an OAG message. However, I must be
realistic. The OAG BODs in their current form do not support this
unambiguous, non-negotiated interchange. This is one of the areas where
Lucent is working with the OAG to improve. I truly believe it will.
I can safely say that these thoughts DO represent those of Lucent and the
OAG.
Cheers,

Kurt, do you know which of the OAG member ERP systems have fully
implemented the OAGIS standards, including the XML ones?
I mean, if you send them any OAGIS standard transaction in XML form,
can they handle it both for import and export?
(If the reason for my question is not obvious, I have lots experience
with software vendors announcing things that don't really work...especially
in the area of interoperability. It sounds like you have some real
experience to draw from.)
Thanks,
