Ron,
Personally I'd prefer not to receive large attachments from the XML-EDI list
server. It's not unusual for hotels in Europe, for example, to charge for
connect time -- even on a local phone call. Large attachments make e-mail
rather expensive when you're paying $1.00 a minute while downloading your
mail.
Maybe XML-EDI needs an ftp server so we can download attachments. Those
attachments from Gerard have not come through to me from the XML-EDIT list
so I nominate them as the first candidates for the ftp site.
