But there is really nothing specific about the document per se. It's
just my wanting to process it with a particular custom stylesheet when
translating it into pdf (or html for that matter).
So perhaps a better way to achieve what I need is to add custom
conversion commands ("Convert to IEEE paper", "Convert to OMG spec", etc.) ?
