Thank you for this feedback. * Technically, we don't see a way to trace an element type back to the schema/DTD file where it has been defined.
* When you open a document in XXE, the status line found at the bottom of the main window tells you which actual schema/DTD file you are using. If you right-click on the status line or click the button next to it, it will display a dialog box showing you the last 1000 information messages. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/statusTool.html * Sorry but the equivalent of -nonet is not useful in the general case. Personally, when I need to check that everything works OK when I'm not connected to the network, I simply pull off the network plug.
