I’m trying XXE pro v6 on Scientific Linux (v 6.5), and getting a crash when I
choose the “Options - Install Add-ons” menu item. This error message is
printed:
GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Setting schema ‘org.gnome.system.proxy’ is not
installed
aborting…
Aborted
Java is OpenJDK 1.7.0_55.
Approximately the same thing happens with xxe-pro-5.8.0 (slightly different
error message).
Checking google, it seems this is a pretty general problem with apps that run
with recent Java and somewhat older linux libraries, like those in the
enterprise builds. See, for example, this Chromium bug:
