Well, I went digging (always a bad thing on Friday morning) and
discovered that the block handlers were being called in the wrong order
to allow the driver to reliably run the last code before the server
blocks.

I sent a pair of patches, the first of which re-orders the server block
and wakeup handlers, and the second provides for a screen block handler
for kdrive drivers which ephyr uses to drain any pending input events.
