Yes, but if you post to the mailing list you get threaded discussions,
automatic quoting of previous text etc... and you aren't filing a bug ticket
for something that obviously isn't a bug.

Hey, here's an idea... the topic was already being discussed on the Phoronix
forum, which you know the devs visit already... how about discussing it there
and not spamming the bug tracker ?
