Yes, at least the bug tracking system had a search and is categorized and
allows people to easily follow up on topics, unlike the clumsy mailing list
archive over there:

Furthermore, having an account at bugs.freedesktop.org allows me to post
everywhere. Using a mailing list I would probably need to subscribe to every
single mailing list before being able to post anywhere.
