After yesterday's problems, my disk partitioning is now messed up to the point that I can no longer install Lucid. When I attempted to install from the Alternate CD, it somehow resized my Karmic extended partition to the end of the disk. No problem, I thought, I just resized it back so that I have 25 GB unallocated space for Lucid. But, the Lucid partitioner still refuses to use it.
