In that case XF86_SVGA and XF86_Mach64 don't exist,
the only relevant server is called XFree86.
The there are 4 driver binaries for ati hardware:
ati a wrapper driver which calls which ever
of the following drivers are required
atimisc a sub-driver for mach64 family and older chips
r128 a sub-driver for the Rage 128 (but not the
Rage PRo, which is a Mach 64 chip)
radeon a sub-driver for the radeon chips.

If you request the atimisc, r128 or radeon driver in your config
file, the ati driver will automatically be loaded. If you
request the ati driver, it will load whichever sub-driver your
chip requires.

If you have config files /etc/X11/XF86Config and /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
XFree86 v4.x will use /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 while /etc/X11/XF86Config
will be used be XFree86 v3.x. Some distributions ship with, and install
both servers.
