Hey all.

I have a Dell Inspiron 5000e with an ATI R128 M3:

drm0@pci1:0:0:  class=0x030000 card=0x00cc1028 chip=0x4c461002 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00
    vendor   = 'ATI Technologies'
    device   = 'Rage Mobility M3 AGP 2x'
    class    = display
    subclass = VGA

Out of the box xf86cfg with X server 4.2.1 does not work claiming that
there are no suitable video modes. If I add the following lines to my
XF86Config file then X is a bit happier and finds valid 1600x1200 and
1440x1050 modes:

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "Monitor0"
        VendorName   "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName    "Monitor Model"
        # XXX: bogus
        HorizSync    28.0 - 90.0
        VertRefresh  50.0 - 62.0
EndSection

I have been using these fake monitor rates since about X 4.0.2 and was
hoping that 4.2.1 would be able to handle the LCD on its own now. :-)
I can provide the full XFree86.log file if needed. Here's a few
excerpts related to the LCD screen:

Thanks for any help.
