I have a problem with Xnest (running XFree 4.2.0 on NetBSD 1.6/i386).
I start it as usual with "XNest :1", but when I try connecting
via xterm -display :1 or use any client after setting DISPLAY I get the
following message:
Xlib: connection to ":1.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :1
At the same time Xnest writes
AUDIT: Thu Oct 31 20:43:59 2002: 825 Xnest: client 1 rejected from local
host
I've tried connecting as root, or starting Xnest as root, but this
doesn't help. I've also tried setting DISPLAY to localhost:1.0 and stuff...
Any ideas?
Ulrich
