Hm. Well I have successfully run 2.9.2 on a few redhat 7.x machines. I
wonder if your environment has some conflicting setting for the
PYTHONPATH (or other) env variable.

You might send me the output of
strace bin/xplor |& grep random

so I can see what's going on - and make sure all the random modules
are being loaded from the xplor-nih-2.9.2 hierarchy
