Hi, I'm trying to help one of our labs install nih-xplor 2.9.2 on a Linux machine. (I've tried this on both RedHat 7.2 and 7.3). We've downloaded
xplor-nih-2.9.2-Linux_2.4_i686.tar.gz xplor-nih-2.9.2-db.tar.gz from the xplor-nih webpage. Upon running the configure script, or when trying to run the xplor script by hand, we keep running into the following error message: >> registerPythonRNG: could not find the random module generator >> continuing.... >> Fatal Python error: initxplor: error initializing vars >> >> >> ** ABORT signal ** >> >> >> End of diagnostics Are there prerequisite packages that we should install to avoid this error? I've found a 2.9.1 installation on this machine, which runs without this error, so I'm wondering if there's an issue with the new download.
