You misunderstood the syntax. The delimiter goes in parentheses after the
word "item".
A better example would be:
if item 3 (delimited by "�") of list1 and item 4 (delimited by "�") of list2
then
delete item 6 (delimited by "�") of list3
end if
Which can be fully resolved without any obscurity.
