Actually, I went back and took more notice and the bug is as others
described - detailed view only. Which happens to be the only view I ever
used. I can live with compact view for now and I have installed pcman
and gnome commander as backups but I really hope this is sorted.
In fact, if it is sorted then this will be the most bug-free clean
install of a xubuntu release so far (ignoring the major screw up with
losing sound completely).
