Same problem here.
As someone has already stated, I too believe that this bug is severe.
Since I use only the detailed view (and did an upgrade from Xubuntu 9.10) I
thought that I had to reinstall Xubuntu.
Luckily one last search pointed me to this bug.
Any timescale for when this bug will be solved and a new version of XFCE will
be available?
