Thanks for the reply, Istimsak. I had downloaded the hibernate package, which includes hibernate-disk, and I had noted the "tuxonice" issue with that package. The thing I wasn't clear on was whether there was some other way to make it work, without the kernel patch. I guess you are saying I can't escape that. ;-)
That's OK. I'm willing to do it if there are good instructions. Let us know if you can make it work. If you get it done, can you tell us how? I"m sure there something out there.
