   Thanks for your comments. The preparation for the
XUL Grand Coding Challenge is just starting. I plan to
create a web page with some screenshoots for the
samples in the next couple of days before announcing
the official start and kick off.

  No it's not a real-time coding challenge. You can
use as much time as you want. The idea is to include a
time estimate in the hope to get more people involved.
That's also why I suggest keeping the samples simple
so you can wrap up your package in an hour and two
max.
