Glad that this is the right list. :-) Yes, this is SunOS solaris 5.11 snv_79a i86pc i386 i86pc I've logged Xorg.log for three cases: the autoprobe when xorg.conf doesn't exist, the xorg.conf generated from xorgconf, and the xorg.conf generated from Xorg -configure. Only the first gives a working X desktop, but it has too high a resolution (1400x whereas I need 1280x1024). I've put the files on my server. You'll see that the names of the conf files and log files are similar.
