Xerrors & Xorg.0.log both say:
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
I bet if you check your upgrade log you will find a number of font packages,
such as SUNWxwfnt failed to upgrade. To recover, pkgrm them and pkgadd
the versions from the build 57 media.
