Ok, I will give it a look.  The odd thing is that this was not an
upgrade but a fresh install.  The install was "funny" since build
57 is requiring a network be configured to do a basic install and
in Parallels the ni0 interface cannot be configured since the
driver is missing (installed post-installation in builds 55/56).
As a result, I had to do some trickery to get the install going
(dropping to shell, mounting the ISO DVD image manually, and then
kicking off the install process manually as well).
