Is there any reason why files such as xrender.pc, xdamage.pc, etc are not part of the X11 packages? Some applications need to be able to find them on the system as part of their configuration. I can find xft.pc in /usr/lib/pkgconfig, but none of the others. Copying from the X11 source helps, but it would be nice if they were installed by default.
