I installed Nevada Build 31 and it includes Xorg 6.9 RC4. The updated i810
driver has much better 915GM support than the one included with Xorg 6.8.
However, there's one annoying problem. The driver automatically probes the
monitor to get its refresh rate. My monitor, a Dell LCD, says it can handle
1280x1024 at up to 75 Hz so it sets the refresh at 75 Hz. The optimal refresh
rate for this monitor is 60 Hz. I set the "VertRefresh" option in xorg.conf to
60 but the driver ignores it.

Does anyone know how to tell Xorg and the i810 driver to not probe the monitor
and just set the refresh rate I designate in xorg.conf?
