Hi, Just thought I'd make a post on the list about XGI graphics for anyone that isn't aware, they released their 3D graphics drivers open source for use with Xorg and DRI, linux of course, however this opens doors to Solaris as well in the future. Were talking low end to mid range performance here.
XGI - aka Xabre Graphics Incorporated - was spun out from Taiwanese chipset maker SiS in 2003. It quickly acquired US-based Trident Microsystems' graphics chip division. Here's their website: http://www.xgitech.com/ This message posted from opensolaris.org
