I see messages like Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C when starting xterm, dtterm, etc. And in CDE, neither dtterm nor the CDE toolbar have their locale selection footers as they normally would.
This all seems to have broken when I upgraded from SXCE snv_108. Since I'm on a Mac, where en_US.UTF-8 is pretty much the norm, running SXCE under VirtualBox in seamless mode, it's more civilized if I can run en_US.UTF-8 in SXCE as well, in case I want to copy/paste something exotic. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
