Ah, don't get confused by my ws paths: 
/export/home/bochnig/devel/projects/fox/fox-gate/mercurial/20080816sat/fox-gate 
/XW_NV/proto-sun4-svr4/usr/X11/bin/sparcv8/Xorg is in fact really Xorg 1.5.1, 
not 1.3.
My 1.3's proto area is symlinked to /usr/X11 by default. For today's tests I 
lofs-mounted the 1.5.1's proto area over /usr/X11, and hence effectively over 
the 1.3's usr/X11 dir. Therefore the misleading prefix before the Xorg binary 
in the backtrace.
