Hello.

I recently installed OpenSolaris 2008.11 rc1b on my system and am considering
"updating" :) from Linux to OpenSolaris.

So far, OS seems quite promising. There are a few things that I'm missing
though (especially certain closed source Linux programs (Acroread anyone?
*g*)). But that's not so much of a problem.

Anyway? On to my question :)

In Linux (ArchLinux with Gnome 2.24, but also with older Gnome releases), I can
go to System -> Settings -> Keyboard and set, among other things, which key
should be used as Compose key (I set it to Caps Lock, becauase I DO NOT YELL!).
This is settable via gnome-keyboard-properties -> Layouts -> Layout Options.

In OpenSolaris, there's no Layout options and the window of
gnome-keyboard-properties looks completely different.

Where in the GUI can I find a setting with which I can control what key should
act as Compose key? Or do OpenSolaris users still have to fiddle with
configuration files? BTW: Where's the xorg.conf file? In /var/log/Xorg.0.log, I
find a mentioning to the effect that there's no configuration file - so, I
guess, the question is rather, where should it be, if one has to create one?

THanks,
Michael
