Tested the packages on OpenSolaris 2008.11(nv101a) after some hacking and it
was more or less working on a Sony Vaio with an ATI Radeon M81 chip. I only
cannot get a keyboard or glidepad working. An external USB mouse works but an
external USB keyboard doesn't. The great thing is that I get my native
resolution of 1600x900 but no input is not really usable. I tested the
whole setup on a new boot environment so I just switched back now.

Any idea how to troubleshoot the keyboard and mouse not working ?

B.T.W. the native radeonhd driver (of the nv101a build) gives me an core dump
everytime, so I had
to enable the vesa driver (but that only gives me 1024x768 which is somewhat
disappointing)

I keep on getting this:
(II) RADEONHD: version 1.2.1, built from dist of git branch master, commit
761940fd

(II) VESA: driver for VESA chipsets: vesa
(II) VGA: Generic VGA driver (version 4.1) for chipsets: generic
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0
