As those on fox-notify may have just noticed, as I mentioned in mail
a couple of weeks ago, I've set up a new gate under the fox project
for the work of merging X11R7.4/Xorg 1.5 changes with the FOX/Nevada gates.
The gate was created about a week ago, and while I've merged in some
changes from the main FOX gate since then, I haven't yet had time to
work through merging in all of Martin's changes.
I've set the notification list to also be fox-notify, so you'll have to
watch for lines in the notifications like this to tell which gate was
modified:

(So far, I've just added pixman - next will come libpciaccess, and then
existing modules can start being upgraded.)
For now, I've created this gate with the default committer list, which is
the FOX project leaders. If others want to work on it as well, make sure
you've clicked "Affiliate with this project" on the FOX repository home
page before sending me mail asking to be added.
While it now seems too late for this to make the 2008.11 release, if we
start building and testing now, we can hopefully be ready to put into a
build shortly afterwards that can then be pulled down from the IPS repos
& SXCE ISO's.
