Oh, your job and your personal life should always be your priority
- I don't expect anyone to work on it full-time - none of us at
Sun will be, since we have other things we have to do too. We do
already have enough people on the payroll here at Sun to do the work,
so are not hiring or sponsoring anyone else for this task.
I am merely making it available so those not at Sun who have shown
an interest in the X update, like yourself, Moinak, and Ken Mays,
and our colleagues in Intel's OpenSolaris group (and anyone else
I've forgotten or don't know about) can see what we're doing and
participate if you want to. There is no requirement for anyone
to do anything, no expectations of anyone to do anything, just a
making available of what we're doing. This is open source, not
conscripted free labor.
