Thanks for commenting. Yes, it will also work on your Blade 100. But never(!!!)
attempt to enter the OBP monitor with [Stop+A], as long as Xorg is running. On
Ati cards (such as the Blade 100's PGX64) this will lock your machine. The
driver and (system's) OBP need to communicate every time, which the Xorg ati
driver doesn't properly do. Tha's exactly why I would be interested in the
XVR-100 Xorg driver, which is "due to be released shortly" since at least
summer 2007. It is developed completely behind Sun's firewall. exactly as the
kfb ddx module has been. And while the kfb module is available in binary only
form (not even re-distributable !!), there are only "plans" to publish the
sources. If at all. This is very unfortunate for Sun's customers, Solaris'
users, and us community. Summary: Sun is shooting in their own feet.
We will never see the XVR-100 driver's sources. Although they have my changes
to the default vanilla-Xorg radeon driver as reference since over two years
ago. Thier stuff costs them money, but they are unable to sponsore the
community. And their (hell-expensive driver) is under development since about
summer 2006. While my diffs make the vanilla Xorg radeon driver work for the
XVR-100 since two years ago.

That's how it is.

Regards,
Martin
