I'm unclear on the history of Motif's codebase, so I can't be sure, but was Motif opened quite awhile ago as OpenMOTIF? http://www.opengroup.org/openmotif/ Does Sun have code in their version of Motif that isn't present in OpenMOTIF? My understanding was that the codebases are the same, and that OpenMOTIF may be distributed royalty-free so long as the OS is open, which is now sort of a fuzzy issue. So if we wanted to ship OpenMOTIF with OpenSolaris its kool... if it goes into Solaris(tm), then its perhaps an issue. Alan or Brad, can you clear me up on all this? benr.
