Accelerated 3D support requires the radeon DRM module in the kernel.
That module in our kernel only supports R300 and older chipsets, and
is disabled in current builds due to conflicts with changes required
for the Intel DRM module.

I don't know how we would go about organizing something like that - I'm 
not aware of any part of Sun doing anything like that before.
