I've also posted this on Genunix at http://wiki.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/LegacyVideoSupportProject Seems like the next step after wordsmithing that document would be to formally propose it in the X CG and look for (3) +1's. I'll happily sit back and let other folks drive with this now that direct contributors can edit.
