When I added wsfb, I did not do an in-depth investigation of all the
alternatives. I had one that worked for my purposes with only a day
or two's worth of work, and that was sufficient for the bootstrapping
needs I had, so that I could concentrate on the bits I needed to (like
testing the core server, keyboard & mouse drivers) while others worked
on real SPARC graphics drivers (which needed a working server, keyboard
and mouse drivers so they could test their bits). As I said, it was
never intended to be a permanent solution and probably should have gone
away a while ago.

Sorry, I didn't mean to suggest that. I don't know of any it worked
with, but didn't test on all models, and while I know that there were
some it couldn't possibly work with, I don't know if that applied to
all - it may have.
