Mmmh... It looks like time and democracy turned a bad name into a good one From a french point of view, there is an obvious spelling. In french, a lot of words have a final "e" and we do not pronouce them in most cases. So, spelling "yade" like "yet" but with a "d" is natural for french people (probably makes "jed" with phonetic letters). A possible variant is "jeid", which will sound more english perhaps.
I'd vote for "jeid" but i'm not sure it is in the list below...
