Yep, I will address the visibility comment -- I just wanted to first do the
refactoring fast, so that I get your feedback.
Regarding the findbug, I tried to fix the problem by adding a
@SuppressWarnings("unchecked"), but it does not seem to work.
Any ideas about what is wrong?
