Keep in mind, in the running system, YaST is labeled as YaST. In the
installation process, YaST is only labeled as YaST when it shows an
error or a help dialog. It's just easy to miss the fact that YaST is
YaST when it's not labeled as YaST most of the time.
Exactly, if you check the current SLE and openSUSE installation screens you'll
find
that "YaST" is not mentioned anywhere.
Moreover the installer has a completely different styling (logos in the top header,
dark theme in SLE, left pane in openSUSE) so it really looks like a different
application.
